The Luck Factor in Probabilities

Downloads: 287 Avg Rating: 0.00 By: Dr Ada MadjdTaymoori in 2015.
Does luck exist in mathematics? Is it a value we can calculate? Can we increase or decrease our luck in a desired outcome? In this article, I want to discuss the value of bringing multiple factors into account when calculating probabilities. For every expected outcome there are several factors that can affect it. Some of these factors might not necessarily be predictable to us however, the more of them we consider in our calculation, the closer we will be in determining our chances for reaching an expected outcome. The combination of factors that work toward the outcome we are looking for is probably the “luck” we talk about and we wish for each other.
